INSPIRED BY THE OCEANS…
and its endless treasures beneath, the remarkable journey of Maldive Seafood began not long after the government opened export sanctions to private sector. Maldive Seafood Pvt Ltd was inspired by young and experienced partners working in the Maldivian fisheries industry for a longtime, in fact even witnessed the first chilled yellowfin tuna shipment dispatched to Europe back in early 2000. Since then, the Yellowfin tuna fishery has been evolving rapidly achieving new levels of ground every year.  

Maldive Seafood was established in the primary mission to connect our fishermen with the buyers around the world offering them a wide range of fresh and frozen fish caught and processed in the Maldives. This involves educating fishermen, getting involved across the industry, sourcing and marketing the best of the catch for the right buyers at the right time and updating buyers with fishing news, which is why we are the first choice of the fishermen and also the global buyer.

The company actively engaged in import and export of variety of fish & seafood products, ventures to achieve a vertically integrated partnership with local fishermen, processing factories and distributing companies in other countries. Since its inception, the company has been growing two fold every year and has acquired high reputation with fellow exporters and fishermen working in the same industry. Our main activities are Exporting Fresh chilled Yellow fin tuna and other reef fishes to global markets especially European Union countries, frozen business includes Skipjack and Yellow fin tuna for Middle East and North African countries. Dried Maldive-fish is also one of the primary products that we export only to neighboring Sri Lanka. Dried Katsuobushi is also verge of promoting into Japan and EU countries. We also take pride in catering our local tourist resorts and restaurants with our finest homemade fish products and newly introduced imported seafood of their choice.
